It said that during a meeting at the Crown Prince’s office in Jeddah, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar handed over a written message to the Crown Prince.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two countries and opportunities to enhance them were reviewed and the latest regional and international developments as well as the efforts being made for them were discussed.

Earlier on Sunday in Riyadh, Mr Jaishankar held “warm and productive” talks with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan, during which they discussed current global political as well as economic issues and interacted with the G-20 and multilateral organisations. agreed to work.

He co-chaired the first ministerial meeting of the Committee for Political, Security, Social and Cultural Cooperation (PSSC), set up under the framework of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council.

Mr Jaishankar also addressed diplomats at the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute of Diplomatic Studies in Riyadh.
