Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is going to introduce 300 new electric buses in the current financial year. It will also set up two Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) at Hakimpet and Warangal.
These decisions were taken on the occasion of MLA Bajireddy Govardhan completing his one-year term as the chairman of TSRTC.
Other decisions include filling 1,200 posts on compassionate grounds in TSRTC, Jiva water bottles with the RTC brand, offering a DA along with October salary to employees, and introducing new super deluxe and sleeper coach buses.
Elaborating on the steps taken in the last one year to make TSRTC profitable, Shri Govardhan said that TSRTC is taking passengers with Darshanam tickets to Tirupati, Mini bus service started in Nizamabad, Naraspur in Medak New Bus Stand Depot in B.Sc. Nursing and Vocational courses at Tarnaka Hospital and 200 Bed Hospital.
