India Weather News Live Updates: Yamuna flowing above danger mark in Delhi; IMD issues ‘yellow’ warning for several districts of Telangana

India Monsoon News Live Updates September 27, 2022: An evacuation alert was issued on Tuesday morning for people living near Yamuna banks. Delhi The water level of the river has risen to 206.11 meters above the danger mark. In Delhi, low-lying areas along the river are considered vulnerable to floods. They are home to about 37,000 people.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad A ‘yellow’ warning has been issued for several districts of Telangana with the possibility of light to moderate rain or thundershowers for the coming week. IMD officials said that in the next two to three days, the monsoon system will intensify across Telangana.

After a break of six days, the Southwest Monsoon withdrew from more parts of Rajasthan on Monday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the evacuation line now passes through Khajuwala, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Naliya. Conditions are becoming favorable for withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some more parts of Northwest India and Central India during the next two-three days.

IMD has predicted heavy rain at isolated places over West Bengal, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
