India facing highest unemployment rate in 45 years: Rahul Gandhi

India is facing the highest unemployment rate in the last 45 years and it was the duty of the Congress party to strengthen the future of the youth and bring positivity in the minds of the youth in the country, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Friday.

Gandhi, who has started the ‘Bharat Jodi Yatra’,Arrived at Neendakara in Kollam district today, the ninth day of starting his foot march on 7th September.

It is our duty and the need of the hour today is to strengthen the future of our youth, bring positivity in them.” After the conclusion of the morning phase of Bharat Jodi TravelGandhi is engaged in discussions with cashew workers, entrepreneurs, trade unions and leaders of the RSP and Forward Bloc, both allies of the Congress Party.

He said, “During the Bharat Jodi Yatra, I am meeting many young people, understanding their expectations from the government, what kind of help they want from us to make their future bright and how many more possibilities we can create for them. are,” he said.

Gandhi also said that the purpose of the yatra was to listen to children, elderly, youth, women, poor, farmers and tribals and solve their problems.

“We are also succeeding, youth are talking to us openly, walking together. I hope we all unite our India and take it forward.

The evening leg of the yatra will start at 5 pm from Chavara Bus Stand and culminate at Karunagapalli where the members of the Bharat Jodi Yatra will stay for the night.

The 3,570-km-long foot march began and will conclude on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bharat Jodi Yatra, which entered Kerala on the evening of September 10, will pass through the state covering a distance of 450 kms, touching seven districts over a period of 19 days, before entering Karnataka on October 1.
