Forensic team collects samples from blast site in West Bengal school

Kolkata: A forensic team on Monday (September 19) collected samples from a school building where a crude bomb exploded in West Bengal’s Titagarh, officials said. “We have collected some samples and they will be sent to the laboratory,” a team official told reporters. Four people were arrested in connection with Sunday’s blast.

On Saturday, a crude bomb exploded on the roof of the school building when classes were going on.

Police said there were no casualties in the incident as students and teachers were in rooms located on the first two floors of the three-storey building. The BJP has demanded a probe by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) into the blast.
