With the Vedanta-Foxconn project moving from Maharashtra to Gujarat, there has been a stir in the political atmosphere in the state. Both the ruling party and the opposition are blaming each other. Who really inspired this project to move out of Maharashtra? A heated discussion has started in the political corridors of the state regarding this. In this background, a storm is brewing between Shiv Sena MLA Aaditya Thackeray and state Industries Minister and Shinde Group MLA Uday Samant. Both have held each other responsible for the loss of the state. Against this background, today Aaditya Thackeray was on a visit to Ratnagiri, the parliamentary constituency of Uday Samant. Speaking at a meeting organized by Shiv Sena, Aaditya Thackeray criticized Uday Samant in harsh words.
Aditya Thackeray claims
Aaditya Thackeray said, “Airbus and Tata is a big proposal. We are implementing it. We wanted to bring an Airbus company to Nagpur. Until I spoke three days ago, this government, Chief Minister, Industries Minister, Didn’t even. Know that there was a project called Airbus. Today they say we are working on Airbus project. Chief Minister should ask Uday Samant to submit his resignation.”

1.5 crore investment, 1 lakh jobs
Aaditya Thackeray claims, “Investment of Rs 150,000 crore was to come from Vedanta. This will create 1 lakh jobs in Maharashtra. In June, Subhash Desai went to Delhi. Foxconn met with company representatives. Then it was decided that the company would do it. Come to Talegaon only. Then the government fell. The high level committee meeting was held on 15th July and everything was decided. Even after that the project went to Gujarat.” He further raises the question, “Even though I am 32 years old, but after leaving the government, I can give at least this much information. So inform the Industries Minister in this regard. Why shouldn’t it be?”
Meanwhile, on this occasion, Aaditya Thackeray also said, ‘During the Shiv Samvad Yatra, the office bearers and workers of Shiv Sena in Ratnagiri discussed the development and organizational strength of the party. His voice against the arbitrary rule of the rulers.”
