PM Modi has always taken oath on the power of Yoga. Recognizing that people can have different ways to stay fit, the PM has always said that he has benefited immensely from yoga. In a tweet in March 2020 – at a time when the magnitude of the COVID pandemic was affecting the world – the PM had said, “Practicing yoga has been an integral part of my life for many years and I have found it beneficial.”

PM Modi has also been a strong supporter of Ayurveda and had said that after Yoga the world will soon accept India’s age-old Ayurveda principles. PM Modi has said that the youth will have to take the lead in explaining it to the countries in a scientific way.

In an interview, the PM revealed that he cures his cold by drinking hot water as well as fasting. Apart from this, PM Modi has always encouraged the countrymen to rely on time-tested home remedies to treat common ailments.
