  4. Lack of exercise or physical activity
  5. Dehydration
  6. Missing a dose of your diabetes medicine, or taking the wrong dose
  7. Over-treatment or excessive and obsessive resolution to an episode of hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
  8. Taking certain medicines, such as steroid medicine in combination with other medicines or exercising.

How to stop high blood sugar?
