shocking! Viral video shows man trying to repair car, netizens blame auto gearbox

Repairing a broken car is a task that requires technical expertise and knowledge of the precautions required while working on a broken vehicle. This job can be best done by professionals who excel in it or are trained with the required knowledge. However, people often take things into their own hands trying to work on a technical problem that they are unfamiliar with. A video of a similar incident went viral on the internet, where a man trying to repair a car gets hit by a car. While it is not certain whether the person in the video is a professional mechanic or not, this incident leads us to believe the latter.

In the video now going viral, the mechanic opens the car’s bonnet from inside and later goes back to inspect the mechanical parts of the car. The mechanic can later be seen making some changes to the front end of the car. Depending on the scenario, he was probably trying to jump the car, which starts out of the blue, accelerates, and crashes into the steel gate in front of him, crushing the mechanic between the bonnet and the steel gate. The mechanic is seen seriously hurt in the video. By the end of the video, people gather to help in every way possible.

The video of the entire incident was posted on Twitter in the name of Deepak Prabhu. The caption of the video said, “If an automatic vehicle breaks down, never stand in front of a vehicle.” He further added, “Please warn your friends and relatives. Share this message as an example.” The video has now garnered over 738 thousand views and nearly 13 thousand likes on the micro-blogging site.

Several social media users tried to speculate about the nature of the car’s transmission after watching the viral video. Commenting on the post, one of the social media users said, “This car is not AT but MT. Many people put their MT cars in 1st gear while parked without applying handbrake. They have forgotten that the car is in gear . While trying to start the car. All modern AT cars have many safety features to prevent such incidents.”

While another user contested the guess to be an MT car saying, “No it’s an AMT coz modem car if your clutch is not pressed the MT car will not start. What I am getting is inadvertently my The gear is put in drive. Gear (D) then tried to short start the starter and as soon as the car started it started running because it doesn’t need a clutch to control.”
