New Delhi: Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum update petrol and diesel prices in different cities every morning based on foreign exchange rates and international benchmark prices. However, the price of petrol and diesel has remained unchanged for a long time.
The declining trend in crude oil prices for 2 or 3 days has been controlled. Crude oil rates have risen. Even after this, Indian fuel companies have not reduced the price of petrol and diesel. With the rise in price, Brent crude has reached around $ 93 per barrel.
Today the price of Brent crude oil is $ 88.09 per barrel. Recently, after the new political formation of the Shinde government in Maharashtra, a cut of Rs 5 was made on petrol and Rs 3 on diesel in the state.
