Google accidentally sent Rs 2 crore to a hacker, read how Google reacted after this

United States of america: Google has mistakenly transferred Rs 2 crore to a hacker and forgot to take it back. A hacker named Sam Curry took to Twitter to inform Google about this mistake. Tagging Google, he quipped that if Google doesn’t want it back then it doesn’t matter.

“It’s been a little over 3 weeks since Google randomly sent me $249,999 and I still haven’t heard anything on the support ticket. Is there any way we can contact @Google? (It’s okay if You don’t want it back…)”, he wrote in a tweet that was posted on his verified Twitter handle.

Commenting on the viral post, a user wrote, ‘IRS is going to have fun with this. “Your banking records show you received $250k. You haven’t reported it on your taxes. What’s up with it? There are two lines on physical paper to explain: _________ _________ ”

Eventually his suspicion was proved correct that Google had transferred Rs 2 crore to him by mistake.

“Our team recently paid the wrong party as a result of human error,” a Google spokesperson said. “We appreciate that we were quickly notified by the affected partner, and we are working to correct this.”
