Gold rose ₹ 323; Silver up by Rs 639

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices rose by Rs 323 to Rs 53,039 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday amid gains in the precious metal overseas.

In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 52,716 per 10 grams.

Silver also advanced by Rs 639 to Rs 62,590 per kg.

Navneet Damani, Senior VP – Commodity Research, Motilal Oswal Financial Services said, “Gold and silver prices have made a comeback from day’s lows after the dollar fell as per Fed meeting minutes. ” ,

In the international market, gold was trading in the green at $1,755.75 an ounce, while silver was at $21.55 an ounce.

Following minutes of yesterday’s Fed meeting, the outlook for the yellow metal changed sharply. and we may see the metal move towards $1,800 an ounce,” said Dilip Parmar, research analyst at HDFC Securities.
